# Maintaining Respect

In a virtual world, playing the role of a criminal can be thrilling and difficult. Nonetheless, it's critical to treat other players with respect, regardless of whether they represent rival factions, the police, or medical professionals. Disliking the cops or other players is acceptable in-game, but it is never acceptable to attack someone directly or intentionally hurt their feelings. \
\
A vital component of roleplaying is respect, which fosters a good and entertaining atmosphere for all participants. Criminals should be aware that their behavior can set the tone for the game as a whole and that their actions affect other people.\
\
The following are unacceptable even if you are roleplaying as a criminal:\
\
1\. Using racist, sexist, or hateful language. This type of behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated by the community ever.

2\. Shouting profanities at someone constantly, especially if they are malicious or convey something malicious against the target. This can be considered bullying. There are real people on the other side of these characters.

3\. Using excessive violence or gore in your scenes. The other parties involved must give their consent throughout. If at any point they are uncomfortable conclude the scene as quickly as possible without further torture taking place. It's important to remember that not everyone is comfortable with graphic content and these could be life changing events for their character(s).

4\. Don't interrupt another scene, even if it's your enemy or friends. This includes sitting at a traffic stop or talking to an on-going bank robbery. You should stay away from these scenes. If there is a gang war happening, don't get involved. Unless you were part of the scene originally, you should never enter the scene as that is a rule break.
