ðŧCombat Logging
Combat logging refers to when a player leaves the game unexpectedly, usually in the middle of a scene or situation that has become hostile or dangerous. This can be done by quitting the game through the menu, crashing the game, or disconnecting from the server. 1. You are not to leave the game or disconnect in the middle of any RP that your character is directly involved in.
If you are concerned that you may be shot, you are not to log off to avoid that. You must play out the RP.
If you are worried a player is breaking the rules, simply record the situation, do not break character. Finish out the RP and report the incident and an admin will rectify and reimburse if needed.
2. After committing any major crime, you must remain online for twenty (20) minutes to allow authorities an opportunity to react. Please plan accordingly before starting any major crime.
3. If you are shot or arrested and you log out of the server you will be considered combat logging or avoiding punishment. You can not die in prison and then respawn or log out in prison and fly into a different location to avoid prison time. This will be considered combat logging. If you do so, you will receive community strikes, suspensions, or permanent bans depending on the severity.
4. You shall not revive (see the light) during an active scenario. This is punishable by a community strike. An active scenario is defined as any time in which the roleplay is still being conducted.
5. Examples of combat logging to look out for:
During a police chase when someone is about to be arrested.
During a bank robbery when the police arrive.
During a gunfight with other players.
During a negotiation or hostage situation that isn't going the other persons' way.
During a hold-up or mugging when the victim fights back.
During a drug deal gone bad.
During an attempted theft or break-in.
During a pursuit by a rival gang
During an intense scene in a dangerous or hostile environment, such as a gang war.
