# W Mentality

When players have a "w mentality" or "play to win" mentality, they focus only on their own goals and desires, frequently at the expense of others. Although it is natural to be competitive, have goals and desires, a collaborative story experience is one of the cores of roleplaying. Behaviors that are detrimental to the role playing experience, such as breaking character, using information outside of the game, or exploiting loopholes, needing to "win" in every shootout or chase all fall under w mentality. \
\
We understand that everyone here is human, scenes can be frustrating and people can be upset or agitated. However, when a player is solely focused on achieving their goals, they may overlook opportunities for interesting and meaningful interactions with other characters. Take the time to develop your characters' motivations, struggles, relationships, and backstory. Remember you're here to be a part of a community, so help make a more fulfilling and gratifying experience for everyone involved.
