ðŸ”ŦGang Related Shootings

If at any time an officer responds to an incident that comes back to a gang war or any gang related shootings these are the steps you are to take to ensure officer and public safety.

1. Form a perimeter around the area where the calls are coming in for shots fired. 2. Do not intervene in the shooting unless fired upon. 3. Once there has been at least two minutes from the last shot officers are to move in and secure the scene. At this point you are to collect any evidence, document individuals involved, and gather any downed persons. 4. If anyone from the opposing party is still on scene you are to tell them to leave the area, or make them if necessary. 5. Call EMS to the scene once it is clear and have them render aid or transport to Pillbox if needed. 6. Collect any weapons from the downed individuals. Do not arrest and process until further notice. 7. Once their weapons are secure and aid has been rendered, send them on their way.

Jurisdiction limit: 4 initially up to 8 if fired upon.
